@dinkydau444 i have a z350 “08 & it’s a piece of shit. horrible transmission, & engine has uneven power delivery. guzzles gas like a hummer. good luck with yours though.
@dinkydau444 You make the mistake of assuming that the English language follows logic. If it did, how do you explain words like ‘enough’ or ‘through’ or ‘knight.’ Like it or not according to the country that invented the language later adopted by Americans, the letter Z is pronounced Zed. Although as a Brit myself, living in America, I do prefer the American version. I’m also going to buy a Zee 370!
@dinkydau444
I don’t think its wrong the why the Americans say it, if I saw a Z on a piece off paper I would say Zee. Just have always known Nissan’s Z series and Zed’s I think it is likely to be the way the Japanese say Z when speaking England maybe?
Both great cars, but my Z4 M coupe is greater and It’s M engine is a beast!
@PBH111 raped? their performance numbers are identical. the porsche just has more refinement and better interior. but of course the car costs 2x the money, so it better be.
porsches have shorter ranges than LAMBORGHINIS. And lamborghinis have horrendous fuel efficiencies. Despite people using this as a commute car, its not actually a very good one. Only reason it is, is because the porsche doesn’t actually get too much attn
Nissan got raped in this comparo…but the reviewer just screamed biase and generalist.
I say Nissans Zeeeee
my last name starts with a “Z” and when I spell it i say “ZED”
I drive sometimes the 370z of my brother its a great car. In my opinion 1) the design of the z looks better 2) it is much cheaper and 3) the perfotmance of the car is great. I dont know anything about the caymen s performance and interiour desingn but they wouldnt call it porsche if it wasnt one. And to all of you haters get a life and stop hatin on everyone
@dinkydau444 FUCK ALL BRITISH
@OnTheLimits
Oh, my bad. Now that YOU’VE weighed in on the matter, I will start saying zed. In case you didn’t notice (or just failed to care) I said that neither of us were wrong, and that either way is fine (just different). I simply backing up the way I say it w/ evidence from the alphabet. (no other letters follow the form _ed) Thank you for being ignorant and unaccepting of the way others speak. Congrats! You’ve served the “enlightened and educated” British public well.
@dinkydau444 you’re wrong buddy, “z” is pronounced as “Zed”, not “zee”.
Nissan 370Z has the equivalent of a Bic lighter were as the Porsche Caymen has the equivalent of a Siglo butane lighter.

@cdoodle08
@dinkydau444 I agree…..the alphabet I learned didn’t include “zed”. Yes, it’s American, but American “English” is used in most parts of the world now. I’ve been in quite a number of foreign countries and have never had a problem with it.
the cayman anyday
I don’t care the pronounciation,
we are talking about CARS !!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i like the 370 Z, Zee, Zet, Zed, Zeta, or whatever
@jaex26
we pronounce it “zed” in Canada too eh? but when talking about the nissan z, its simply zee…
If I had the money I would get the Cayman. But I don’t so I will go with the Zed.
umm this should have been 370z vs regular cayman since they are closer in price.
@carywat Before I bought my Cayman S I test drove a Z and really liked it. What alarmed me was the state of the cars in the lot. I went to a big dealership here in Los Angeles and every Z I looked at and sat in, 5 or 6 – all new, had loose trim parts. On one the trunk lid light was hanging out of the fixture. This may all be poor dealer prep, but it made me wonder what other troubles might be lurking. You’re right, an oil change on a Cayman is $200, but it’s a taut car all around.
SHould be the Nismo 370z vs Cayman S, then it gets interesting
