Just after 150 mile break in. Home built Custom Trike. None of this project was done by anyone outside of our family. After two years of molding the body-hand laid fiberglass, making a frame-all heavy duty 10gauge steel tubing as well as back plate for engine mount, building the engine-1500cc, and fabricating parts to our desires, we now are ready to move on to a new project. OCC eat your damn heart out…if only you knew how to build a trike

Did you build the body and if so how did you form the fiberglass, if not where did you purchase it? Awesome bike by the way. I built a VW Manx dune buggy, now wanting a trike to go with it…..

you have to get the inlay for the seat. A sheet of fiberglass that’s the same cotour of the seat pan. All the padding, material, and so on attach to that, Then you bolt it to the body
Beautiful job! I just aquired my first trike kit and am puzzled about how to upholster the seat pans. I have re-upholstered seats before but never had to build them from the ground up. Any tips? By the way I am a 59 year old female and ready to take to the roads on my trike.
