Although all those clips depicted tragic collisions, I did find that several of the pedestrian hits were due to the fault of the pedestrian, not the vehicle/driver. Cross walks and marked walkways are there for a reason. If you choose to cross a busy road at an unmarked/uncontrolled area, then you run your own risk of endangering the drivers. Jaywalking is illegal in countless countries and cities for this exact reason. For the safety of the drivers as well as pedestrians.

Our world is pretty messed up if nobody is willing to stop and render aid. I don’t care that people sue (there is laws to protect the innocent…I know I am a cop). It is our moral compass, gut instinct, or whatever you may call it to help others and comfort one another in need. We are becoming selfish.
