2005 BMW 330ci test drive and walkaround with Chris from Chicago Cars Direct. BMW 330 Review Summary What reviewers liked most about the BMW 330: “Functional and understated, this is simply one of the best interiors available.” —AutoWeek “A perfect 10–beauty, athleticism and peerless build quality in one tidy package.” —Automobile “The seats won universal praise, especially for their extendable thigh supports.” —Motor Trend “Deliciously smooth inline-6 engine” —Car and Driver “They put drivers in touch with the road instead of isolating them” —New Car Test Drive What reviewers liked least about the BMW 330: “Bear in mind that the 3 Series is a compact. If rear cabin space is a top priority, you can find more for your money elsewhere.” —New Car Test Drive “It is on the pricey side [of the segment].” —The Detroit News BMW 330 Comparisons: “The [BMW] 330i felt a bit bulkier and roomier than the Mercedes C320.” —Road & Track “The 3 Series is quite possibly the best sedan on the planet, but the [Audi] A4 isn’t far behind.” —Edmunds.com Best one-liners about the BMW 330: “[The 3 Series Convertible's] lovely shape and matchless driving experience–especially with a summer breeze curling over the windshield header–should ensure its place on any hedonistic car shopper’s short list.” —Automobile “Toeing into the throttle of the 330 felt so good it hurt.” —USA Today 2005 BMW 330 Reviews You should be aware that when reviewing 2005 BMW 330 reviews, what is said regarding a vehicle …

This is not a sports version, you can tell by body kit, steering wheel etc.

on the vehicle history report where it says ‘engine’ its shown as a 2.5L…. but its obviously a 3.0L hence the badging and commentary… that would make me a bit wary if i were a serious customer

No, I know.
When it first came out I was like, “Kind of small compared to the G35.”
But that has changed and I would be hapy with Either.
G35 or G37s are mans cars, but G stands for Girl Magnet.
Watch Borat and watch the part with he hummer and you will understand.
If you get a G convertible, or With out the sports package you are just taking the kick out of it. Convertible a bit feminine, IMO

@nw00022 it is too a sport, the one with the front and rear splitters are from the performance (ZHP) package. it does have sport seats, so it’s sport. And im sure this guy has seen the option sheet.

It is, it looks to have the sports suspension and sideskirts. No where near the performance of the M3, about 100bhp less. Still a very quick car, the m3 is just super quick.

uhh, thats nice. although, this is sporty enough, from what i know, this car (speaking about the engine) is below the m-version
July 30th, 2010 at 1:12 pm
I do, you can tell by the front and rear splitters. Still a nice car but the sport is nicer…..Im lucky enough to have one.

I agree it is a 330CI, but it is not the sport model.
July 30th, 2010 at 2:07 pm
yes it is, look :
3 (series) 30 (3 litre engine) c (coupe) i (injection > petrol engine)
July 30th, 2010 at 2:41 pm
That is not a 330ci sport.

“but it falls apart after time”
How so?
July 30th, 2010 at 3:25 pm
I know and it’s a girls car, but if I could get a 335i or a G37s.
I’d go for the G.
I had a Beemer and it was very well balanced, but it falls apart after time.
