Back in 2005 i played “Gran Turismo 4″ on the PS 2. Racing on the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife i noticed some special music playing in the background. I stopped racing. All other cars passed me. I parked at “Metzgesfeld” and listened to this wonderful music. After losing the race by a million miles i checked the GT4-playlist. The song funnily was called “A million miles away”, written by Ulrich Schnauss. I didn’t know Schnauss but i was fascinated by the sound. So i bought every CD and found out that the track was a remix of “Monday – Paracetamol” from the album “a strangely isolated place”. Both versions are great. I made a video with “Monday Paracetamol” but for the Nordschleife it had to be the Gran Turismo 4 Soundtrack. I thought i knew the Nordschleife from GT4, but driving there in real life is completely different. This video shows my 2nd lap ever, pretty slow, i was very impressed by this intimidating track. My deepest respect to all drivers who REALLY race on this track, not only on the playstation…
